Mother's Day Carnation SaleList Item 4
Carnations are available for a good-will offering to benefit Birthright in Frackville. Birthright is an organization that understands the challenges of an unplanned pregnancy, and provides services and support for these women and for life. Click here for more information on Birthright and the needed services it provides. The carnation is used as an outward acknowledgment of the role of mothers and honors their contributions. Symbolically, the red carnations signify respect for a living mother; the white carnations give honor to mothers who have passed away. Pink, according to most research, symbolizes gratitude and carries the meaning of a mother’s love.
