Almighty and loving God,

You who call me by name and ask me to follow You.

Help me to grow the heart of service for my Church

and to discern Your Will for my service.

Give me the courage and strength to take the step to serve

and to follow through, despite the distractions that come my way.

Inspire me and teach me how to dedicate myself to service

and open my heart to hear Your plan for me.

Allow my service to help me to get closer to You

and to develop my charity and love for others.

I ask this through Christ our Lord.  AMEN.
