Communion for the Disabled
The last three pews in the back of the church on the Crucifix side are dedicated pews for those with disabilities who have a difficult time going up for Communion. Communion will be brought back to those seated in these pews.
Please make sure the usher knows that you will be receiving Communion at your seat.
Parish Ministries - We need help!
We have an abundance of parish ministries that fit a variety of interests and schedules - something for everyone! We can really use more help in each of the ministries!
The more people we have to help, the more we can do and the less holes we have to try to fill.
There is no requirement in how often you serve. The only requirement is that you serve out of love and make some time in your schedule for God.
- Do you like to be outdoors - gardening?
- Do you like to be social with people?
- Do you like to give direction?
- Do you like to help with set-up?
- Do you like to do office-type work?
- Do you like to prepare food/baked goods?
- Do you like to sing?
- Do you like to do crafts or creative things?
- Do you like to use the computer?
- Do you like technology?
- Do you like to pray?
- Do you like to serve at Mass?
- Do you like to reach out to those in need?
- Do you like to work with youth?
- Do you like to provide information?
- Is your schedule really busy?
- Are you unable to leave your home?
- Do you have an unpredictable schedule?
Most of these ministries include men, women, and responsible teens. Many of the ministries can be done as a family. A couple of them include youth of various ages.
Give this a try - there's nothing to lose!

Monthly Novena for OCTOBER:
Novena to St. Teresa of Avila
October 15 is a great feast for us Carmelites as we celebrate St. Teresa of Avila, Carmelite nun, mystic, reformer, and doctor of the Church, “Doctor of Prayer”. From the great St. Teresa of Avila, we learn about personal and contemplative prayer, a way to talk with our Lord as a close friend. Pray this novena with us! May our hearts be set afire with a more ardent love for our Lord!

“We are not islands, we are in the world to live in God’s image: open, in need of others and in need of helping others… In everyday life, am I too a reflection of the Trinity? Is the sign of the cross I make every day – the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit – that Sign of the Cross we make every day, a gesture for its own sake, or does it inspire my way of speaking, of encountering, of responding, of judging, of forgiving?” --- Pope Francis
